Process of production

Wire rods are made by hot rolling billets on continuous rolling mills. Shafts are used to pull it away from the hot metal. The shafts shape and compress the metal on all sides, changing a single piece of metal into a thin, long cable.

The rod must be chilled after rolling. This wire is wound on a specific winding at the end of the rolling mill to cool even more. This procedure can be completed in one of two ways: by air or by rapid cooling. Unlike quick cooling, which necessitates the use of special fans, air cooling occurs naturally. The rod is now ready to be stored after cooling.

Stainless steel wire rods are the primary source of stainless steel wire. Industrial fasteners, springs, medical and dental equipment, car components, and welding electrodes are all made from stainless steel wire.
