The Hastelloy corrosion-resistant alloys are commonly used in the chemical manufacturing industries. Reliable performance criteria contribute to their adoption and development in geothermal, solar, oil and gas, and pharmaceutical fields. The benefits of Hastelloy process equipment include high uniform attack resistance, outstanding localized corrosion resistance, excellent resistance to corrosion cracking stress, and ease of welding and manufacturing.

The B-3 alloy has excellent tolerance to non-oxidant compounds, such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid. The benefits of B-3 alloy compared with previous B-family alloys are increased thermal stability and improved manufacturing features. Hastelloy Hybrid-BC1, which has recently been produced, can handle more vital non-oxidizing acids than C-type alloys and withstand oxidizing impurities that B-type alloys cannot.

Hastelloy alloys are the "C-type" alloys and are the most flexible. The C-2000 alloy blends excellent oxidizing media resistance with superior resistance to non-oxidizing environments. It represents a real breakthrough success for chemical process equipment applications.

 All about Hastelloy C22 Tube

Hastelloy C22 Tube is highly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion and has been widely used to defend against the most corrosive FGD systems and the most advanced pharmaceutical reaction vessels.

G-30 alloy was very popular as heat exchanger tubing for phosphoric acids and other process components in the fertilizer industry. In these Hastelloy applications, G-35 alloy has been developed as an improved version of G-30 alloy. These two alloys' high chromium content makes them the prime choice for efficient oxidizing solutions and mixed acid pickling.

Here you can get Hastelloy steel in various shapes, including contour circles, circles, large oversized rings, hubs, flanges, shafts, and other forged open die products. No matter what the form, Hastelloy Metal has advantages in vacuums and chemically inert atmospheres, such as high-temperature strength. Hastelloy Metal has been the steel of choice for corrosion resistance and durability, more so than any other Ni-Cr-Mo alloy.

A quick guide to Monel 400 Pipe

The manufacturers of Monel 400 Pipe are happy to deliver a much more comprehensive range of specialty steels than anyone else in the market, which may be one of the reasons why so many industry-leading machine shops come here for quick and affordable close-tolerance products.

Changing single or more chemicals and compounds with the assistance of chemical reactions involve various materials. Specialized equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, fitting, flanges, evaporators, and valves are needed for these chemical processing tasks. The high performance of the Monel 400 Tube is essential due to the existence of harsh and challenging conditions found in the solutions used in the chemical processing industry. The alloy comes with specific properties resistant to corrosion, which serve the purpose of the chemical industries.

In addition to the operating conditions, these industries also use various forms of acids, such as nitric, formic, and hydrofluoric compounds, known for corrosion formation. Naturally, C-276 alloy is commonly used for corrosion prevention, since nickel is its crucial constituent. The alloy prevents the formation of precipitated grain boundaries in the heat-affected welding zones. It makes it a favoured item used for process equipment manufacture.
