Getting Rid Of The Annoying Avast Email Signature

How to get rid of Avast email signature
The most annoying thing about arguably the best free antivirus software, Avast, pops up when you don’t expect it. Some users may find really frustrating one feature in particular.The thing is that the program creates a special email signature on your every sent letter. This signature means that the letter has been checked and contains no viruses. It is used to reassure the receiver that their computer will not get infected and that the letter is not a spam message. Today, we want to show you how to STOP Avast email signature popups. Typically, it is on by default, which is a really good reason to be anoyed. But as you will now make sure, it is super easy to stop Avast from inserting its signature into your outgoing emails.

Open the Avast client (select “Open Avast user interface” after clicking the icon).

Go to the Settings option by clicking on the gear icon.

Search for “Enable Avast email signature” and uncheck the box.

Confirm and restart your computer.

All done. Avast should stop putting the signature into the letters.

Another common issue with Avast and emails is blocking your incoming letters. The anti-virus can often block clean emails by mistake. It can consider than dangerous for your computer or detect viruses in them. You can disable this feature as well.

Go to your Avast UI.

Click on the Real Time Shield button.

Go to the Mail Shield feature.

Select the Expert Settings option.

Click on SSL Accounts and set the Encryption to “None”.

From now on, Avast shouldn’t block the incoming letters.
