Manaslu Circuit is one of the popular trekking destinations of Nepal. It is also restricted trekking trekking region of Nepal. It provides perfect view of beautiful mountains, combinations of cultural heritage and biological variety. Mount Manaslu (8163m) is the eighth highest mountain in the world. It is located near the border of Nepal and Tibet. It was opened for the trekkers only in 1992. Since then it has seen a rapid grow in the number of trekkers each year. The name ‘Manaslu’ is derived from the Sanskrit word “manasa” which means the “intellect or soul”. So Mount Manaslu is also known as the spirit mountain. This mountain was climbed for the first time by the Japanese expedition in 1956. So it is also said that the “just as the British consider Everest to be their Mountain, Manaslu has always been Japanese mountain.”

Some even call it the best all-round trek in Nepal and it is on Great Himalaya Trail. If you go off the beaten trail,you will experience the wilderness as this region is its natural state.

Manaslu. One gets to ‘Larkya La Pass’, one of the most wonderful passes along the Himalayan Trek. You will also get a chance to get acquainted with the Tibetan culture. The best month to trek this region are March, April, May and the last week in September to mid-December.October is the busiest season of the year.
