Need for packaging

Whether things are stored or shipped, packaging plays an important role. One needs to be confident that things to be stored or shipped things are properly packed, covered, stacked, protected. There is a plethora of options available for your packaging needs and you only need to find the most suitable one for your need.

Variety of packaging material

To ensure safety in transit, various products are available for packaging.
•Paper and envelopes like manila, white paper or board backed envelopes and tissue paper.
•Polythene packaging like Grip sealed bags and pallet stretch shrink wraps.
•Tapes such as Brown tape, Cello tape, Gaffer cloth tape, masking tape, hazard tape and double sided tape.
•Scales
•Cardboard boxes of various sizes and thickness
•Protective packaging like bubble wraps, foam wraps and corrugated paper
•Postal tubes
•Pallet wrap

The two most important things

Whatever may be used as packing material nothing is safe till the package has been sealed safely. Nobody can afford to have things spilling out of packages. That is where the packing tape comes of use. The packing tape is ideal for all kinds of packing needs. Whether the goods need to be stored in a place or they need to be moved from place-to-place, the packing tape provides protection. Once the package is sealed with a tape it is completely secure.

The material that is packed may often need extra protection as they may be fragile. Such material needs to be visually identified to keep them safe. Fragile contents can be identified with fragile tape. Most of them come with highly visible red on white design, printed on a multi-purpose polypropylene packing tape.

Another important feature of packaging is integrated labels. This sticky label is included in an A4 sheet and is used to print invoices or packing lists and a shipping label on the same sheet. It is inclusive of a shipping label that is used by the sender and a returns label for the recipient to use if they wish to return the material. If a single A4 sheet is being used money can be saved because the regular home printer can be instead of buying another label printer. It is a time saver too as there is no need to switch between printing on regular and adhesive paper and also with the invoice or packing slip being on the same sheet as the shipping label matching invoices with labels is quicker. Error is prevented as they can be kept together till you peel off the label and put the sheet inside the parcel. It is convenient as it includes a returns label so the customer also has no problem in sending back their items.
