Fees Structure of an Interior Design Firm/Qualified Interior Designer in Pune is not standardized or neither it is been controlled by Government. It depends upon Each Organization Policy/Firms/Individual. It depends upon the Quality of the Design, reputation of the Designer, Dedication of the Designer towards the Project & Quality of Service etc.

So to compare an Interior Design Firm/ Interior Designer only on the Fees Amount will not be a Correct Decision .Comparison should also be made with Quality of Design, dedicated creative work along with Fees.

The Present charges in the Pune Market for different Options mentioned above are as follows.

Option-1, Interior Design Consultancy

Design Fess will be between 9% -18 % of the Cost of the Project (Material + Labour) .For Example if the Total Cost of the Project is say 10 Lakhs so the Design Charges would be between Rs -90,000/- up to 1,80000/-.Some Interior Firms charge on the Carpet Area of the Floor. The Design Fees will be between Rs.200/- Per Sqft to 400 /- Per Sqft .


Option -2, Turnkey Interior Design

Design Fees may vary or will be same as above .In addition to design fees ,since the contracting part is also an additional responsibility the Interior designer is also responsible for Timely completion, Quality of Workmanship, Procurement of Material ,wastage in material, Overall Cost of Project ,so there will be a Certainly a Profit margin Involved in the BOQ quoted.

Option -3, Design & Build

In this Option the Design Fess will be between 9% -15 % of the Cost of the Project (Material + Labour) ,along with Additional Execution Charges which will be between 9% -12 % of the Project cost . For Example if the Total Cost of the Project is say 10 Lakhs so the Design and Build Charges would be minimum 9% + 9% =18% up to around 15% + 12%=27% .

Some Design Firms charge on Carpet Area Basis also. In this Option the Design Fess will be between Rs.200/- Per Sqft to 400 /- Per Sqft along with Additional Execution Charges which will be between Rs.200/- Per Sqft to 400 /- Per Sqft.
