Lean Six Sigma is a process improvement methodology that combines two techniques: Lean Manufacturing, which is a "collection" of tools that decrease the time it takes to deliver a product or service, and Six Sigma, which is a tool that improves the quality of products or services. Lean Six Sigma contributes substantially to improving customer satisfaction that is why it is important to have Lean Six Sigma Certification.

Benefits of Lean Six Sigma

Increase in Profits

Profits are increased by reducing process costs without increasing the price of the product or service (lean approach).

Unlike the traditional approach, where the increase in profits is obtained with the price increase, the lean approach seeks to reduce costs to increase profits.

Increase in Production

Lean Six Sigma allows increasing the company's production, reducing the times that do not generate added value (change times, machine stoppages, and quality problems, among others). So if a person wants to be an asset to their company they should have Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

Many businesses recognize that they have several areas of opportunity to compete and expand their productivity and motivate for future challenges; Lean Six Sigma is a methodology that will allow them to achieve their objectives.

Improved Customer Loyalty

Any company wants to retain its customers. Indeed, this is a critical factor for the success of a company. But, of course, customer loyalty and retention are solely the results of the expected high levels of customer satisfaction.

Time management

Employing a Six Sigma methodology within your company can help employees manage their time more effectively, resulting in greater efficiency for your company by having more productive employees. Users are required to set SMART goals and then implement Six Sigma principles to those goals.

Reduction of cycle time

Unfortunately, most companies embark on projects that extend beyond the original timeline and often because there are changes in the scope of the project or there is a change in the management of that project. Using Six Sigma, an organization can form a team of skilled employees at all levels inside its organization. Employee must have Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification to contribute to their company’s growth.

Employee motivation

All companies, when they are destined to be successful, need employees who act the right way. But for employees to perform that way, they need to be motivated enough. Organizations willing to fully engage with their employees have shown a 25% / 50% increase in their productivity.

Strategic Planning

Lean Six Sigma can play a critical role in a strategic vision. Once your business has created a mission statement and conducted a SWOT analysis, Six Sigma can help you focus on areas for improvement.

For instance, suppose your business strategy is based on being a cost leader within your market. In that case, Six Sigma can improve internal processes, increase performance, eliminate unnecessary complexity, and win or maintain agreements with suppliers of a more low cost.
